The Appenzellerstöbli used to be the village bakery. Traditional cuisine in a time-honoured ambience. Chef Peter Prüfer reinterprets traditional Appenzell specialities.

Where the master baker once stood at his oven, you will be able to dine on exquisite Appenzell specialties in a rustic ambience starting in 2025. Executive Chef Peter Prüfer and his team will spoil you with refined creations and regional products in a cozy, traditional parlour atmosphere. Our cuisine stands for sustainability, variety and respect for people, animals and nature. The offer is complemented by our exquisite range of wines from the excellently stocked wine cellar of Eastern Switzerland.

The Löwen will be closed from March 6 to 17. Enjoy the Löwenkarte in our new Lehnerstobe in the Huus Bären.
